Hi, my name is Valerie Carpenter. I am from Harrison, Tennessee. I'm currently a student in Tennessee Tech's 2+2 elementary education program. I previous majored in nursing at Chattanooga State TCC and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Go Vols!
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, playing with my dog, hanging out with my best friend and boyfriend, and sleeping. Both of my parents are teachers, my brother is an engineering major at Chattanooga State, and I have a 5 year old black lab, Molly. One of my goals is to learn something new every day, whether it is a new word, a new recipe, or a new detour. I hope to instill the same desire in my students as a teacher.
